Green building research exists to mitigate the significant impact of buildings on the environment, society, and economy and supports sustainable development goals (SDGs). The research focuses on several areas, including but not limited to occupant comfort, intelligent building system, renewable energy, the built environment, building physics, waste management, and energy conservation. In addition, the research aim is to improve building performance towards a sustainable environment.
